In the first week, Mr. Kannan explains what to expect in this semester. How the world was created would be combined with environmental design. Mr. Kannan said to work on the concept and world-building in the first week, and try to create it on a mood board such as Miro. If done creating the world, try to start on thinking a few sketches on the characters.

The first thing to do was to create a map, and think of the environment, that the character is going to interact with. Since this is a connected module with environment design.

Week 2
Questions to ask sir:
Q: can the two regions be set in different timelines? it won't be drastic.
A: It doesn't really matter as long as they seem fit
Q: Is it possible to include more than one culture, for example, Mongolian culture and Inuit culture together.
A: Yes as long as they complement each other nicely or basically fit together.

Week 3:

This is the first ideation of how the continent would look like, the idea was to have 2 extreme weather regions separated by a mist. After thinking about it, It would be too difficult to creating both regions as well as there would be uneven work separated between 2 regions.

Kid value sketches

Week 4:
Showed sir the creation of the tamer class, and a bit of the shaman.

Silhouette of the characters

Value of the characters
I decided to remove the shaman's coat as it blocks out the silhouette too much and is troubling and unessesary.

Week 11:
Feedback:
orthographic is good, work on it further finish it, the thrall could be fixed further, rotate more of the arm, make the arm slimmer.

Week 12:
Sir said the character is going to fall for the child, work faster, think bout sculpting the thrall instead because it might be faster. work simultaneously if you sculpt faster.

Character 3D

Week 13:
Start compiling the call sheet of the characters, put value on it, lay it out, progress further on the 3D sculpting

Line art for splash

I wanted to create 3 focus points for the viewers to look at to keep their eyes moving

Final splash

Reflection:
I wished I have more time for the module and environment. I think the splash art could use more shadow and darkness or add more highlights on the mushroom. The sky was a bit too plain and bright for my liking. The 3d sculpt was also lacklustre, I didn't have time to pose the character properly.
